The objectives and purposes of the Association are:
(a) to enable Hainanese people in Western Australia to network and enhance their relationship with each other;
(b) to encourage and foster the Hainanese dialect, heritage, customs, values and way of life and in this way to contribute to and enrich the Australian cultural life;
(c) to look after the general welfare and interests of its Members and the Hainanese community in Western Australia;
(d) to provide assistance to its Members to assimilate into the Australian society and to promote cohesion within Australian society;
(e) to promote the affiliation with other Hainanese Association worldwide;
(f) to do such acts or things that are or may be incidental or conducive to the attainment of any of the objectives of the Association;
(g) to achieve the above objectives but not to be in any political and religious involvements;
(h) to provide facilities for members and to promote the social and cultural activities of the Association for the Members and their guests.
